Abbey walked outside of Headless Headmistress Bloodgood's house and sat down on the step. The autumn chill felt like summer heat to her, especially with the moving about and unpacking she was doing inside. Shiver came bounding out of the house at her feet, making her smile as she watched her tiny mammoth play with a stick that still had leaves on it. "Must play now, girl?"
Her tiny pet brought her the stick and set it at her feet. With a small smile, she got up and threw it, happy to take a break.

Romulus walked down the side walk casually. Enjoying the autumn breeze. It had been a hot summer, and he was glad it was starting to cool down. The street was fairly empty as he walked down, but he faintly heard someone speaking as he walked around a street corner. To be whacked in the head with a stick. He stood there for a second, stunned and confused. Then he saw a small furry elephant bounding up to him. It took the stick in it's trunk before staring at Romulus. He bent down and, still confused, patted it on the head. "Where'd you come from?" he asked, hearing the small thing trumpet.
He glanced up and saw a pale girl with snow white hair. He raised a hand in greeting. "Is he yours?" he asked as the animal headed back over. Romulus followed and stopped in front of the house on the side walk. "He's cute," he murmured, still trying to figure out why there was an elephant.

Abbey had bitten her lower lip in embarrassment when the stick hit him in the head. When he came over, her jaw nearly dropped at the realization that he wasn't upset about that. "She. Is from Siberian tundra...is miniature wooly mammoth."
Shiver promptly dumped the stick on Abbey's feet once more. She tossed it more halfheartedly in the direction of the trees, hoping she didn't clock anyone or anything else.

Romulus' eye brow rose slightly, "A miniature woolly mammoth. Now I've seen everything," he muttered to himself. Then he looked her up and down quickly. "You're friends with Draculaura, right? I remember you being apart of the welcome party," he shoved a hand into his pocket and watched as the mammoth chased after the stick. Part of him wanted to go and chase after it as well, but didn't want to take away the mini mammoth's fun.

She smiled slightly. "Then you have seen much." She noticed his shifting gaze and grew sheepish, though she was unsure why. She nodded and tucked a lock of white hair behind her ear, "Draculaura is friend. And you are Romulus, other alpha."
Shiver came back and went to Romulus with the stick that time. Abbey seemed to melt a little at that, "She like you."

Romulus smirked and nodded his head, "Glad to know you remembered me," he said bending down and picking up the stick. He patted Shiver on the head before tossing the stick, not as far as he could've but far enough that the little mammoth would be able to get it easily. He grinned, "I'm a natural with animals, must be my animal magnetism," he joked, glancing up at her.

Shiver took off running and Abbey smiled, "Animal magnetism draw many close to you. Am very glad you remembered me." Her cheeks colored slightly with blush, though she didn't realize it.

Romulus chuckled, deciding not to tell her that animal magnetism basically means sexual attractiveness. "How could I forget? Tallest one in the group, awesome sign and the guts to put us in our place if we stepped too far out of line," he smiled at her, throwing in flattery. He glanced at her house. "So this is where you live? Seems warm," he murmured, scanning the house and yard. "How does your mammoth fair here? Isn't it a bit warm for her?" he asked, making conversation. He didn't have much to do at the moment and she looked like she could use some company.
"Sorry if this is rude, but aren't you with that Heath character? He seems to be really 'burning' up for you," he said, using air quotations around the word 'burning'. He looked at her, and rolled his eyes, "He gets on even my nerves with his acts. Normally he's pretty cool and funny, but sometimes he goes to far."

"You liked sign?" Her cheeks colored light pink behind the blue, making them slightly lavender. She rubbed the back of her neck, "Is colder in bedroom than rest of house. Shiver is used to warm, she has short fur..." Keeping up with his line of questions, she smiled even more, "Heath is friend, but does not have strong enough head on shoulders to be more than friend. Love is not game, he treat it like one..." She shrugged.

She was clearly pleased with his flattery. He grinned. "I'd ask you to show me how cold your bedroom is, but that isn't hardly appropriate after we just fully met," he chuckled softly as he tossed the stick for Shiver once more. He was silent for a while as the mammoth raced back, looking tired. He rubbed it's back and bent down. Smiling at the small creature, "You're a great catcher," he praised scratching Shiver behind the ear as if she were a dog. He didn't know how else to act towards the mini mammoth. "I bet Abbey taught you a lot of tricks, she must be a good owner."

Shiver dropped the stick and panted, rolling over to allow Romulus a belly scratch.
Abbey smiled as she watched him with Shiver, "She is good judge of people. If you would like to see, she trust you. If she do, so do I."

Romulus smiled and rubbed Shiver's stomach before standing up. "If she's a good judge of character, that means you must be pretty trustworthy yourself," he shoved his hands into his pockets. "So I'll take to trusting you as well."

She smiled even moreso, "I would hope so. Still want to come in?" Her eyes sparkled a little. She could feel the warmth from his skin, not too warm like Heath's, just warm enough.

Romulus smirked and shook his head. "No, I'm enjoying outside. Plus I'm not about to go back on my word. I don't want to be inappropirate," he held up his hands. "Maybe another time, if you still want to talk to me at another point." he said with a chuckle. He held out his hand towards her with a smile, "I'm sure we'll see each other lots, we run in similar circles."

"Why would I want for talking to stop? You are surprisingly level-headed for boy." She liked his company and it also helped that Shiver liked his company too. "If you are liking the outside, then I will try to be outside."
