Gory had a particularly bad day as she climbed in her car in the parking lot of the school. She left her sopping bag on the other side of the car, her umbrella propped up against it as she turned the key in the ignition. After several tries, she growled in exasperation and thumped her head against the seat, "Perfect. Just bloody perfect!" She attempted to turn the key to accessory, but it just wasn't catching. In irritation, she threw open the door and climbed out into the rain, walking around the front of the car and looking under it. Finding nothing, she popped the hood and stared down into it, realizing she had no idea what she was doing. She slammed the hood down and took a seat on the bumper, taking a breath before she put a dent in the hood out of sheer frustration.

Around that time, Robecca had happened to walk by, a large umbrella in hand, thinking about some things to do with school and also of a new stunt that she could do for the next show she had. She had happened to look slightly to her left to see Gory abuse her car and rushed over immediately.
"That is not how you should treat it! Is it not working properly? Perhaps I can take a look at it," she offered.

Gory looked up, her hair starting to soak and the gel in her bangs starting to loosen. She sighed; they'd be curly in a few minutes. Wiping the moisture from her glasses on her shirt, she gestured to the car, "Please. I'm about to go insane. Tt wasn't like this when I started it this morning."

Robecca nodded and, carefully holding her umbrella so she didn't get wet, carefully lifted up the hood and peered inside. "Oh, I see the issue..."
She then, rather skillfully, leaned forward so that her entire front section of her body disappeared into the car, and tinkered for a bit, her umbrella leaning against her back and protecting her from the rain. She then reappeared, dusting off her now dirty hands, and smiled at Gory as she grabbed her umbrella.
"All better! She'll run like a charm, now," she announced. "She had a few loose wires and parts, but I fixed that nice and easy."

Gory looked at her in a mix of disbelief and gratitude, "Thank you...why did you just help me?" She was aware she wasn't the nicest person and others' kindess was still a bit off-putting to her. She wasn't used to people doing things out of kindness, but with ulterior motives.

Robecca was confused by Gory's question, but smiled all the same. "... It was the right thing to do. My father told me a long time ago that we have to help those who are in trouble that we can help, and I could fix your car, so I did." She missed her father, more than anything in the entire world, but she managed to keep a straight, unwavering smile at the vampire before her.

She let out a soft sigh, "Your father must've been a good person." After how long it had been after she'd seen her family, she thought their teachings had become rather irrelivant. Trying to keep composure, she gestured to the car, "Need a lift? The last thing you need is rust."

"He really was, I miss him greatly," Robecca admitted. She was quiet as Gory offered her a lift, to which her eyes widened somewhat. "You don't mind? It will mean a lot! I extremely dislike the rain..."

She wiped back her rain-wetted bangs, "Well it's not putting me out any. Besides, if my car decides to die again, it'd be better to have you with me."

She almost laughed at the words, and finally nodded in agreement to the offer. "I see. I appreciate the gesture. Thank you."

She cracked a smile, "It's really not a problem." She climbed back in and popped open the passenger door, waiting for her to climb in with her.

Robecca climbed into the car carefully, closing her umbrella as she did. She stayed quiet but looked around in awe around the car. It was so much different than the stagecoaches of one hundred years ago.

Gory turned on the car and sighed in relief when it started. Immediately, she turned on the heat and directed most of it toward herself since she was pretty thoroughly soaked, and she had a bit of a heat deficency. The look on Robecca's face made her grin, "It's definitely got more horsepower than the average hearse."
